Mwanja Destroys England
February 10, 2008 by Seasons
Kenya has just beaten England 17-7 in San diego to qualify for the Cup quarters. The win came from Dennis Mwanja’s hat-trick of tries. ![]()
Am glad I stayed up to watch this albeit on TV. How I wish I made it to San Diego. I just arrived home this morning after attending the Wellington tornament where we didnt do too well.
We are likely to meet New Zealand in the semi-finals and win or lose, I think we have achieved what we set out to do and that was qualify for the main cup quarters.
Go Kenya go!
That was a great performance even if we did loose out to NZ in the final I agree we can still hold our heads up high esp after the not so good results in the last outing.
Keep it up boys!
Great! Am looking forward to when they land England and Scotland.
Sasa!
Yaani, I can’t believe you were here and I hatad that dinner.
Anyway…..good to see the lads fighting to stay in the tournament. I wish them all the luck in the world in the remaining legs.
12 points in the US…..nice one. Now we are top 6 in the sevens circuit. And we beat England….shame we could cause an upset by beating NZ in the cup semi-final. One day that shall come to pass.
Ebu holla on your way to HK. What is it that you do that you globetrot to watch rugby matches all over the place? Some people have the best jobs!!!
I feel bad that I hatad the meal with you guys. People don’t believe that I have biashara in those places. I just schedule my travel to coincide with rudge tournaments. Am also self employed and that does help. I will pass by on my way to HK. Hopefully your city will be warmer!
I meant semi final
ati you were here?
Imagine I was there for 3 nights-brrrr very cold! I tried to halla at Mocha for lunch and she responded to me on the day I landed back in Nrb. Dont fret though, I will be there for a couple of days just before HK sevens. If we miss that, I will be there as from 21st May to June 5th- that will be a holiday
sasa wewe are you a pilot infact to be even more specific are you a private pilot to the kenyan rugby team? ebu lend me some airmiles- and you better be a collector of airmiles.
And the next time I read here that you have travelled, I am going to ask you to declare how you are off-setting your carbon footprint ( and I am not jealous at all……..whistles away!)
Not fair
I wouldn’t want to be a pilot! I am just a business man who happens to have frequent business travel that coincides with the rugby schedule. I also happen to have a passion for some sports- not soccer though
longtime since iwas hia..ama its seasons ago?well, i got reasons too! anyway..w8ing for yua next post..chiaz!
Karibu tena. I have visited your spot and you have been silent.
The lads did us proud! One more positiv thing about Kenya put there.
We should swop lives, you hit the books, and I do the globe trotting. Fair trade, no?
Fair trade dude. But you have to deliver the same return to my shareholders. If so, we have a deal.
seasons please tell me if you know of nwhere i can get affordable flight tickets to HK from kenya ……delete this comment ukisoma..pole kukusumbua
