A 37 year old single Kenyan man blessed with two children and running a financial services institution in Nairobi.
Started this blog initially for fun and it eventually turned to a place where I map my journey through life, the experiences and mostly the joys. You will find a lot of posts surround my personal life as I avoid writing about my business life( to be honest too much is written about business by other who I consider better than me).
My experiences are not unique but connect with an everyday middle class Nairobian and hence would interest people like me. You will find posts on my favourite sport, my favourite people, my favourite places and my favourite music. Once in a while, there will be a rant about an experience but intend to keep it light hearted.
I travel a lot in my job and hence a lot of the updates are done on the road.
for a moment while reading through your entries i thought you were a woman. not that it matters really. the beauty of blogs is the diversity that converge between bits and bytes. since i started blogged in 03, i have found that the presence of kenyan bloggers to have grown tremendously. this makes me giggle with excitement. & i suppose since this is a micro-ism of a tolerant society.
I truly like your blog and have a love and kinship with a few Kenyans. Through a very starnge set of circumstances I met a Kenyan named Leonard Mungai, who now resides in Detroit USA (I understand that he was a nephew of a former president???).
He once gave me a Kikuyu New Testament which I cannot read, but cherish.
If you are anything like this man, you are a wonderful person.

I am Ugandan. I lived in Kenya for about a year and I made great friends there. And like tony, when I first read what you had written, I was sure you were a woman. Not saying that women write better but usually when they write, they put alot of themselves in a piece which for me usually makes great reading. Your writing is great. Thanks for that.
